Blue and white Facebook PowerPoint template

Sometimes it’s hard to let old projects go, but I’ve recently had to do it with several of my old websites that I had no intention of updating ever again. I’ve spent years building websites and creating content for them – I guess you can call it a hobby of mine, but it just got to a point where I had too many and no more time in my life to keep them up to date anymore.

One of those websites was a presentation template site, where I designed PowerPoint and Keynote presentation templates and uploaded them for anyone to use. It was started at a different time in my life; a time when I had a lot of free time and a passion for designing ANYTHING, and it didn’t really bother me that I was spending a large portion of my time designing PowerPoint templates. I was just happy a pig in mud that I was playing in my favorite design software (Photoshop and Form Z).

Eventually I came to my senses and realized that I was wasting my life working on something that, deep down, I really had no interest in. I mean, who in their right mind would get satisfaction out of designing presentation templates all day? I admit that it didn’t bother me in the beginning, but as I grew older I started to appreciate my free time a lot more and started focusing my attention on the things I enjoyed the most. I closed my template website down last fall, and I haven’t looked back since. It was the right decision.

But now I’m sitting on 100’s of old PowerPoint templates that I feel guilty for keeping to myself. No, not because I think they are really amazing or anything. Mostly because I know they still have value and they could be a big help to someone burning the midnight oil who needs to put a presentation together for a big meeting ASAP. Having a pre-built slide deck ready to go is a huge plus, and I’d like to help out as much as I can. That’s why I started trashedgraphics.com in the first place!

You’ve probably noticed that I posted a silver photo-themed PowerPoint template yesterday. That was the first one from the old site, and I plan to upload as many as I can over the next year or so. Yeah, it’ll take that long – there are a lot of them.

Today I’m posting this blue and white Facebook template, which was one of my most popular PowerPoint themes from my old template site. Yeah, it’s a little outdated by today’s standards, but social media and Facebook is still as popular as it ever was – so hopefully there’s someone out there who will find this useful. I’ve actually got a few more modern Facebook themes which I’ll be uploading soon.
