I make a LOT of templates for PowerPoint. Seriously…you have no idea. It’s not the most glamorous design task in the world, but the sick thing is that I sort of enjoy doing it. I’m not sure what it is, but I really like how imagery and typography can come together to make a pleasing (and persuasive) design with great balance.
Anyway, I recently spent a lot of time creating some PowerPoint templates for UX design, and this cover page is one of the concepts that didn’t make it past the first round. It’s always hard to see one of my favorite designs get pushed aside so quickly, but as an experienced visual designer, it’s something I’ve become familiar with. It’s just part of the job!
